Meet the Owner
Hello there! I’m Jaime Snyder, the proud owner of Country Bookkeeping, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey in the world of finance and business management.
From Business Owner to Accounting Expert
Having weathered the storm of the 2007 recession as a business owner of a furniture venture for two years, I intimately understand the challenges that entrepreneurs face during economic ups and downs. The experience of navigating through the uncertainties of that period has shaped my perspective on the critical importance of keeping a close eye on the numbers. It’s not just about surviving; it’s about thriving, even in the most challenging climates.
With a solid foundation in business ownership, I took my passion for numbers to the next level by dedicating 14 years to a waste management company, where I served as a Staff Accountant. This role allowed me to delve deep into the intricacies of managing finances for multiple entities under one umbrella. From balancing budgets to streamlining financial processes, I honed my skills in ensuring the fiscal health of each segment within the larger organization.
Beyond the Numbers
Lessons in Money and Hard Work
Beyond the world of business and numbers, I am a passionate hobby pig farmer. Tending to my porcine friends not only brings joy but also serves as a hands-on lesson in the value of hard work and financial responsibility. I believe in instilling these principles early, which is why I love teaching my kids about money management through the lens of farm life.
Teaching the Next Generation
As a parent, I am committed to passing on the lessons of financial literacy and hard work to my children. Whether it’s managing the finances of our pig farm or sharing insights gained from corporate accounting, I believe that instilling a strong work ethic and financial understanding in the next generation is key to building a successful and sustainable future.

Whether you’re a small business navigating the early stages or a growing enterprise managing multiple entities, Country Bookkeeping is here to be your trusted partner in financial success.
